Meet the Founder

Behind Nestush is Srajan Chopra.

For years, his work as a Merchant Navy officer kept him out at sea for months at a time — far from home, far from the small, constant decisions that fill a parent's day. Long stretches with no land in sight, no fixed schedule, just open water and time to think.

Every time he came back, he noticed the same thing in the people around him: new parents, completely exhausted — not because of the baby crying or not sleeping, but because of everything else. The hundred small decisions that never stop. Is the milk too hot. Did she nap enough. Is he too cold, too warm. It never really ends.

He's not a parent himself. But he's watched enough sleepless nights, up close, to know exactly what needed fixing.

Nestush started with one simple question: what if a parent could have just one less thing to think about?

No grand mission statement. No long list of features. Just a small, rechargeable bottle warmer, built around the moments that actually matter — the 2 AM feed, the car ride, the day with no kettle in sight.

Nestush gets it.

Safety & Certification

Is the Nestush warmer safe for newborns?

Yes — completely safe. Nestush is BIS certified (Bureau of Indian Standards), confirming it meets Indian safety standards for electrical baby products.

The 37°C setting warms milk to body temperature, which is ideal for newborns. Never exceed 40°C for breast milk as higher heat destroys its natural nutrients and antibodies.

🩺 For newborns: always use the 37°C setting. Never exceed 40°C for breast milk.

Is Nestush BIS certified?

Yes. Nestush holds BIS certification — the gold standard for baby product safety in India. The certification mark is printed on the product and its packaging.

Bottle Compatibility

Which bottles are compatible with Nestush?

The Nestush sleeve fits bottles up to 6cm in diameter. Quick reference:

Bottle TypeCompatible?
Pigeon (standard neck)✓ Yes
Dr. Brown's (standard neck)✓ Yes
Mee Mee (standard neck)✓ Yes
Most standard Indian feeding bottles✓ Yes
Steel bottles (standard neck, ≤6cm)✓ Yes
Glass bottles (standard neck, ≤6cm)✓ Yes
Philips Avent wide-neck series (~7cm+)✗ Not compatible
📏 Quick check: measure the widest point of your bottle. 6cm or under = perfect fit. ✅

Does it work with steel or glass bottles?

Yes — material doesn't matter at all. Nestush works with plastic, glass, and steel bottles equally well. The only thing that matters is the diameter. 6cm or under at the widest point = works perfectly.

Warming & Usage

Can I warm breast milk in it?

Yes. Use the 37°C setting — this brings milk to body temperature and preserves all the natural nutrients and antibodies in breast milk.

⚠️ Never exceed 40°C for breast milk. Higher temperatures destroy its beneficial properties.

How long does it take to warm milk?

Milk Starting TempApprox. Time at 55°C
Room temperature5–10 minutes
Refrigerated (fridge-cold)10–20 minutes

For fastest results, use the 55°C setting and make sure the bottle sits snugly in the sleeve with no gaps.

💡 Night-time tip: pre-warm the milk and leave it in the warmer near your bed — milk stays warm and is ready the moment your baby wakes up.

What are the temperature settings?

Nestush has 6 discrete temperature settings shown on the LED display:

37°C 42°C 46°C 49°C 52°C 55°C

37°C — ideal for breast milk and newborns
55°C — fastest warming for fridge-cold formula or cow's milk

What is the minimum amount of milk needed?

The minimum liquid volume is 30ml. The sleeve wraps around the outside of the bottle, so bottle fit matters more than the amount of milk inside.

Battery & Charging

How long does one full charge last?

A full charge covers multiple warming sessions — typically enough for a full day of use. Each session runs until your set temperature is reached, then maintains it until you remove the bottle.

How fast does it charge?

Nestush charges fully in approximately 40 minutes via USB-C (5V/2A input) — from a wall socket, car adapter, or power bank.

⚡ 40-minute full charge via any USB-C source.
A note from the Nestush founder: I built Nestush while working as a Merchant Navy officer — spending months away from home, watching my family struggle with the basics of travel feeding. Every feature in this product comes from a real parent problem, not a boardroom assumption.
